Lesson 2 Homework Practice Function Rules: Challenge Yourself with Advanced Problems on Functions an



In this course, you will watch a number of video tutorials and then complete practice assignments for hands-on practice of your new skills. By the end of the course, you will be able to add formulas to cells. There are two types of cell references. You understand relative cell referencing and absolute cell referencing and when to use each type of cell address in your formulas. You will be able to add conditional formatting. You will have entered dates, formatted dates, and used dates in formulas. You will be able to add basic functions, like AutoSum, Average, Min, and Max to your spreadsheets. You will understand how to use the IF Function with calculations, IF Functions with calculations and numbers, IF functions, and with text parameters. You will also have reviewed NESTED IF Functions in Excel. You will be able to create charts using data in tables. You will understand how to preview different types of charts and how to change the style of your chart. You will be able to format your chart and add Titles and a legend.




Lesson 2 Homework Practice Function Rules




Microsoft Excel is a powerful program that lets you organize numbers and information. You will use this program at work and home to create many projects, including budgets, schedules, contact lists and more! This class starts with basic workbook terminology. We will explore ribbons and tabs and learn to modify columns, rows and cells. We will practise modifying text and number formats and adding borders and shading. You will learn worksheet management tips including how to add, rename, move and copy cells. A practice activity will be assigned for homework.


Microsoft PowerPoint is a program used to create digital presentations. In this first class, you will learn the basics of using slides, adding text, and exploring different views. Creating title slides, text slides and bulleted lists will also be demonstrated. Finally, you will learn how to activate a slideshow and save your presentation. A practice activity will be assigned for homework.


This class continues where we left off in Level 1. You will learn how to copy elements between slides or from files or the internet, use the format painter feature and explore various print options such as grayscale print and audience handouts. We will teach you how to add interest to your presentation with text and slide animation, clip art, movie clips and hyperlinks. We will finish up by showing how to change font colors, delete placeholders, use the help feature and end a presentation. A practice activity will be assigned for homework.


Microsoft Word is a program that lets you create digital documents. With this program you can create letters, resumes, forms, flyers and much more! In Level 1, we introduce you to the basic features. We look at common keys and icons. We explore ribbons, tabs, scrolling, toolbars, entering and formatting text and making paragraphs. You will also learn how to create bulleted lists, use find and replace, spell check, grammar check, and synonyms features. A practice activity will be assigned for homework.


This class will continue where we left off in Level 1. We will explore how to move and copy text, use print features, delete and copy formats, sort lists, create columns, add and customize page borders, create and format tables, use templates, and manage and create shortcuts to your files. A practice activity will be assigned for homework.


This class will continue where we left off in Level 2. We will work with multi-page documents to add headers and footers, title pages, page numbers, footnotes, table of contents and bibliographies. You will learn how to change margins, line spacing and paragraph spacing, use shortcut keys, and insert pictures, clipart and text boxes. We will practice using hyperlinks and using tables to make charts and graphs. A practice activity will be assigned for homework.
