The Maze Runner Newt: His Suicide Attempt and Letter

Thomas has a recurring dream of when he first arrived and every time he face plants, blacks out and he's back in his bed. But this time he doesn't face plant, he just keeps running into a maze he doesn't know.

Runners spend their days entering the giant maze that's opened up to the Glade each morning, looking for a way out. It's a grueling job, and a dangerous one, especially if a runner is caught in the maze over night when the grievers come out.
